The game development industry in Australia is booming, there are many opportunities for graduates who have game development industry relevant training. As was found in the recently published "Australian Electronic Game Industry Profile" research paper commissioned by the GDAA, the sector is a high skill and high wage industry with the average wages above the national full time earnings average of $57,000 per annum for most job classifications within the electronic games industry.
