Chris Finn tells how at the AGDA National Conference
Intellectual Property Specialist and AGDA's legal advisor, Chris Finn will present Big Picture, fine Print at AGDA's 2007 National Conference.
In response to continuing requests, Chris will workshop real live examples of copyright issues his designer clients have to confront in their day-to-day working lives. Anyone in the audience will readily identify with many of the situations covered.
And come away knowing what not to say, and more importantly, what to say in your terms of business.
Chris Finn has been AGDA's honorary solicitor since its inception and legal adviser to literally hundreds of its members over the last 20 years.
While a business and commercial law specialist, his major specialty is intellectual property, advising designers from all fields, particularly on copyright, trademarks and designs, and the resolution of disputes surrounding them.
He is a guest lecturer in business law and intellectual property at the University of Technology, Sydney, and Griffi th University, Brisbane and a career-long advocate for the raising of designers' professional standing in the business community.
A regular at many of AGDA's talks and seminars, Chris will give an insider's view of just how designers should protect and exploit their intellectual property, by using actual examples of the framework and words of terms of business which have passed the test of time and litigation.
Copyright is all you have to sell, so come along and find out how to protect it!
