B2B34 Watercolour in the Park (QLD)
When: 21st June 2008
Time: 09:30am - 12:30pm
Perhaps one of the youngest of artistic traditions, having only reached its peak in the 18th & 19th Century, watercolour painting is perhaps the most delicate of art forms, expressing not only individuality of style, but one's spontaneous technique & stylistic innovation.
AGDA invites you, family and friends to spend a morning with fellow watercolourist Carolyn Morgan on Saturday 21 June 2008 to explore this medium. New Farm Park and the backdrop of the Brisbane Powerhouse has been selected as the destination of choice, for its contrast of dynamic city scapes and tranquil parklands.
Although some basic materials will be provided (brushes and paint), please bring along your own block of watercolour paper, brushes and watercolour paints, to create art to keep. Be instructed and guided by Carolyn to achieve the best results possible.
Hope to see you there!
