B2B35 Origami (QLD)
When: 26th July 2008
Time: 09:30am - 12:30pm
An art as old as paper, Origami has been a source of intrigue and enjoyment for over 1,400 years. As designers, we work with paper in its 2D form everyday, and now AGDA invites you to join origami expert Aiko Adams on Saturday 26th July to explore paper in a whole new dimension.
Aiko has a deep appreciation for the traditional arts and crafts of her mother country and has been teaching the ancient arts to small groups, friends and school children ever since her arrival in Australia.
Japanese refreshments and snacks will be provided. Genuine Japanese paper packs and Kimono Doll kits will also be available for sale on the day from $6.95.
