B2B 47 Intermediate Origami (QLD)
When: 22nd August 2009
Time: 09:15am - 01:30pm
An art as old as paper, Origami has been a source of intrigue and enjoyment for over 1,400 years. As designers, we work with paper in its 2D form everyday, and now AGDA invites you to join origami enthusiast Samantha Gaghan on Saturday 22nd August to explore paper in a whole new dimension.
A frequent visitor to Japan, Samantha has a deep appreciation for their traditional arts and style, and how they can be applied to modern design. This class will explore more intermediate level models for those with origami experience, or just love a challenge.
Japanese refreshments and snacks will be provided. Shizen Paper Creations will have genuine Japanese paper packs and Kimono Doll kits available for sale on the day from $6.95.
Venue:
Room 4.35, Level 4 Webb Centre, Queensland College of Art, 226 Grey St, South Bank
