B2B 50: T-shirt screen printing (QLD)

AGDA invites you to our ever popular t-shirt screen printing event on Saturday 21 November 2009.

Conducted by screen printer and artist Jenny Sanzaro-Nishimura, come and print your own design onto t-shirts, plain fabric or paper.  Participants will be working in pairs.
 
Venue: IMPRESS Printmakers Studio, 73 Warilda Street, Camp Hill, Brisbane www.impress.org.au
Cost: Members: $45.00. Non-members: $65.00. Credit card payments are welcome (Visa, Mastercard & Debit). Workshop includes all inks, screens, paper, light morning tea and some equipment.
 
What to bring:

• 5 to 7 pure cotton t-shirts or fabric (preferably not stretch or ribbed, pre-washed and ironed).
• Participants MUST PHOTOCOPY DESIGN ONTO A4 OHT USING BLACK LASER PRINTER ONLY before the event (there are no photocopying facilities at the studio).
• Please keep designs bold and basic and try to avoid fine lines (2 colours max). The darker and more solid your image on the OHT paper, the better it will expose onto the screen.
• Plain cardboard that is bigger than your design to stretch your t-shirts over (up to A3).
• Bring spray adhesive and an apron or old t-shirt to wear.
• Light morning tea will be provided, but BYO lunch.
