The New Retail Experience – Anything goes or does it? (VIC)
When: 29th October - 29th October 2009
Time: 06:30pm - 08:30pm
Even the most evolved, savvy retail brands and online entrepreneurs must connect to their consumers’ desires at every touch point in order to maximise the brand’s potential and build relationships that last, even in the most difficult of times.
Given that the current economic climate sees consumers being more strategic about what they spend their money on, there is no better time to seize the moment to focus on great product design, marketing, visual merchandising, promotions and in-store experiences, and no worse time to be mediocre.
‘Design’ is the single most effective tool to drive continual change and provide differentiation.
Retail is a ‘designed experience’, one that can be shaped, even when it’s a virtual experience. No longer can we say retail is typical. We must continually ask how much and how quickly is it changing, what’s next and what should we be considering?
This event from Design Victoria and the City of Greater Bendigo invites retailers, business leaders, marketers and designers to examine the new retail experience that is transforming retail the world over.
Presented in partnership with the City of Greater Bendigo.
